We direct our services to users in the European Union. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy is governed by the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
We use our own cookie banner to ask for and record your consent to analytics and advertising technologies. No third-party consent provider is involved, and no data is sent to a server when you make your choice.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key uw_cookie_consent_v2) so we do not have to ask again on every page. Analytics and advertising technologies (Google Tag Manager and the services listed below) are only loaded after you have given your explicit consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the cookie button in the bottom corner of every page.
Data stored: Your consent choice (necessary / marketing) and the time it was made. No IP address, no user ID.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR (obligation to be able to demonstrate consent); storing it on your device is strictly necessary under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
Storage period: Until you change your choice or clear your browser storage.
Language preference: If you select a language in the language switcher, we store a cookie named uw_lang containing only that language code (e.g. “de”) for 12 months, so the website is displayed in your chosen language on future visits. It contains no personal data, is not used for tracking, and is not shared with third parties. As it is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested, no consent is required (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Our website runs on the Next.js framework, which is also developed by Vercel.

When you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message and, if given, company, area of interest, budget range or, on our campaign page, phone number, website, industry and team size) is stored and processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

We send the e-mails generated by our contact forms and our newsletter through Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., USA. Resend processes the e-mail addresses and the content of these messages on our behalf and only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Data processed: E-mail address, name and the content of your enquiry or newsletter subscription, plus technical delivery data (e.g. delivery and bounce status)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the double opt-in procedure: we first send a confirmation e-mail to the address you entered. The link in it is valid for 24 hours and contains your address in encrypted form; we do not store your address before you confirm. Only when you click the link is your address added to our newsletter list, which is held with Resend.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by e-mail to hello@unityworld.llc. After you unsubscribe we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, solely so that you are not contacted again.
